Big-Bags weighing station with suspension
In a milk powder production plant, we supplied a Big-Bags weighing station with suspension. The bulk bags are fed with an auger and a vibrating screen. The bulk bag is suspended on a metal suspension frame by 4 load cells of 500 kg each. The operator sets the desired setpoint, e.g. 900kg. As soon as the scale shows the specific weight, the automatic butterfly valve closes, and the auger and sieve stop. Then the forklift lifts the pallet and takes the big-bag away with the help of the operator.
