To prevent downtime in the downstream Φ250mm screw conveyor, the material needed to be reduced to a uniform size of less than 40mm without the machine clogging or seizing.

- Robust Cutting Geometry: The internal mechanism features 12mm-thick radial rotating blades and heavy-duty fixed knives. This dual-action shearing ensures that even the toughest “pressed” fruit is effectively downsized.
- Multi-Fruit Versatility: While originally designed for raisins, the open-base design (without a restrictive grid). proved highly effective for other whole fruits, including pomegranates, lemons, and citrus, making it a versatile tool for viticulturists and juice producers.

By reducing the raisin “stones” to a consistent 40mm grain size, the plant achieved a reliable, automated feed into their screw conveyors. The reinforced 316 stainless steel construction ensures full compliance with food-grade acidity standards in the vinegar industry.
