Single shaft shredder for car tires
For a recycling unit, we built a large shredder (granulator type) with a semi-cylindrical grate opening of 20 mm. The rotating knives – pads made of HARDOX anti-friction steel are screwed onto the super-reinforced brackets. These pads, as shown in the photo, are square and can be used 4 times. Their relatively small size significantly reduces their manufacturing costs. This is how we succeeded in building an efficient shredder, where the cost of spare knives is small and their replacement takes place at infrequent intervals.
