Industrial shredder for cookies
In a production plant of pastry mixes and doughs for confectionery, we manufactured a stainless steel shredder for cookies with a vibrating sieve. The biscuits, which come broken, must be further down-sized to a very strict grain size, but without becoming powder (because then they are no longer usable). The shredder achieves this specification quite satisfactorily, but it also needs the vibrating sieve to sort them even further. The oversized product is fed back into the shredder, while the dust is being removed.
