Shredder for toilet paper rolls
For a kitchen paper and toilet paper roll production plant, we manufactured a twin shaft shredder for the down-sizing and reuse of defective paper products. Originally, we designed 15mm thick rotating knives. After the first tests with the chopped product, the plant engineers decided that the end product was too small for further processing. With this new perspective, we disassembled the shredder and reassembled the knives in identical pairs together. So the new thickness of the knife was now 30mm. The final product was fully responsive to further processing.
