An animal and fish feed production plant required a robust vibratory separator to refine pellets immediately following the extrusion process. The goal was twofold: “grading” the product to remove oversize lumps and acting as a security sieve to eliminate “fines” (dust) that compromise water quality in aquaculture. Because fish feed is often high in oil and moisture, it has a significant tendency to “blind” or clog standard mesh, leading to reduced throughput and frequent manual cleaning.

- Total Material Containment: This circular vibrating screen ensures that 100% of the feed is processed across the entire mesh surface. Unlike some rectangular designs, this grading sieve provides a closed-loop environment that prevents unsieved product from bypassing the screen.
- Self-Cleaning Ball Deck: To mitigate the high risk of clogging, we integrated a specialized anti-blinding system. High-rebound rubber balls are housed in a support deck beneath the mesh; their constant bouncing action creates a “de-blinding” effect, knocking oily particles loose.
- Final Check Screener: Positioned before packaging, the unit acts as a final check screener, stripping all remaining fines from the pellets to ensure a clean, market-ready product that meets strict aquaculture standards.
