Semi-automatic weighing machine for 25-kg bags
For a fertilizer factory we manufactured a stainless steel 25-kg bag weighing machine. The N, P, K fertilizers are fed from a small silo with an inclined auger. The ground scale weight indicator was programmed to control the feed of the auger. So when the operator selects the 25 kg setpoint, then the auger will decelerate to 24 kg and more accurately achieve 25 kg. A butterfly valve was also placed at the outlet of the screw conveyor, to increase the accuracy of the bagging machine.
