The primary challenge was to achieve a steady, dust-controlled throughput of 3 tonnes per hour while reaching a specific vertical discharge height of +3.0 metres. Standard gravity-feed stations lacked the elevation capability, requiring an integrated mechanical transport solution.

The Solution: Integrated FIBC Discharger with Inclined Tubular Auger
We engineered a heavy-duty Bulk Bag Emptying Station featuring a high-performance integrated conveyor:

- Precision Inclined Auger: To bridge the height gap, we integrated a Tubular Screw Conveyor (auger) directly into the discharger base. This enclosed design ensures that the lime is elevated 3.0 metres without dust emission or material loss.
- Consistent 3 t/h Throughput: The auger’s pitch and motor torque were specifically calibrated to deliver a reliable 3,000 kg/h flow rate, matching the plant’s continuous fish feed extrusion requirements.
- Safe Bulk Bag Handling: The station features a reinforced lifting frame and a dust-tight bag interface, allowing operators to safely load Tonne Bags and initiate the discharge cycle with minimal manual intervention.
