Screw conveyor for dextrose

For a bakery mix and jelly factory, we built various mixing and feeding systems for raw materials such as starch, sugar, fructose, dextrose, etc. Each material has different properties, grain size, specific gravity, and angle of repose. Dextrose, as expected, behaved differently. We built a vertical screw conveyor for dextrose with an inlet hopper. The special construction of the inlet funnel with a very good flow was good enough to avoid – as requested by the customer – an extra agitator.
