Silo and Vacuum Suction Systems for PE Pellets

In plastics factories, the extruders must be fed with plastic pellets of PE, HDPE, LDPE, PP, PET, PVC, etc. but also with regenerated (scrap) product in irregular form of flakes.

For short as well as long distances, the vacuum suction system is used, through a side channel blower or roots blower and several material receiving containers above each final destination.

Such vacuum suction piping usually has a diameter of Φ60 – Φ90mm and consists of stainless steel pipes and pipe couplings with 3 bolts that join the two pipes face to face and embrace them. The bends are open and have a radius of 1000mm.

There are also special multi-way diverters to achieve different combinations (eg from 4 silos to 5 different mixers – blenders, i.e. 20 different combinations).
