Activated carbon filters
For deodorization (abduction of odors) active carbon filters are used, i.e. filters with elements of active carbon, which have the ability to adsorb odors like a sponge within their pores.
Gas filtration with an activated carbon system is the final stage of filtration. Usually preceded by filters for dust particles, electrostatic or absolute filters
Cartridges made of perforated sheet metal are filled with activated carbon granules. Then a series of such cartridges are placed in a metal galvanized frame depending on the required amount of filtration / deodorization that we want to achieve and constitute a unit of active carbon filters in cartridge filters. These industrial activated carbon filters are suitable for odors and have a specific lifetime. After this time (without clogging) they lose their absorbent power and the contents of the cartridges must be replaced with new activated carbon powder.
