Centrifugal sifters
Centrifugal sifters consist of a rotating shaft, which at the beginning is in the form of a screw conveyor and then has side paddles rotating within a flexible cylindrical mesh. Their peculiarity is that in case of overfeeding, they do not “clog”, since the extra product, unfortunately, passes unclassified to the wrong outlet. Centrifugal sieves are used in products such as flour.
