Hammer mill crushers
Hammer mills are generally used to break aggregates into bulk products. The hammer mill consists of a multi-turn rotating shaft, which has disks with an array of hammers – blades. At its exit there is a metal mesh (grill), which defines the grain size of the final (broken) product. The crusher in the photo breaks urea down to a particle size of less than 1.0 mm.
Olive crusher
The olive fruit hammer mill breaks olives and pulps them in a grain size proportional to the distance of the screws to the knives (under 2.0 mm) and proportional to the sieve that follows. The olive hammer mill in the photo is multi-turn and responds to a laboratory size for working with a spectrograph.
