Piping Systems
Lipped-ends Piping Systems
Diverter valves – Branch pieces
Couplings
The smart lipped-ends piping system is applied to pipeworks for:
– free flow of bulk solid materials
– dust suction to a central filter unit
– pneumatic conveying up to 2.5 bar overpressure
It consists of tubes, bends, segments, T-pieces, branch pieces, cone pieces, butterfly valves, slide valves, 2-way valves, rotary manifolds, inspection pipes, telescopic tubes, and many other accessories. All these pieces have a lip (twisted tube at the ends) that is joined tightly with quick-connect clamps.
JACOB Germany piping systems hold the No. 1 place in Europe. This system is easy and quick to assemble because it comes loose and can be mounted without the need for welding, metal cutting, or adjusting with any tools. Also in future expansions of the pipework or during a total relocation of a pipeline all the pieces are disassembled and reused at 100%.
The piping system with lipped ends is available ready-to-deliver in standard dimensions from Φ 80 mm – Φ 630 mm in black painted, galvanized, or stainless steel in a thickness of 1, 2, or 3 mm.
They find application in all branches of industry such as flour mills, food, animal feed, tobacco industries, plastics, chemicals, building materials, detergents, medicines, etc.
Curves
PIPE CURVES (BENDS)
Lipped piping systems include 90° bends with radius R = 1D, R = 2D, R = 5D, etc. There are also 15, 30, 45, and 60 deg. bend segments..
Cone pieces
CONE REDUCTION PIECES
Piping systems with lip include various contractions e.g. Φ300 / Φ150 mm with conical shape. There are also “figures”, ie contractions from square to round in various dimensions.
T-pieces and Branch pieces
T-PIECES & BRANCH PIECES
Lipped piping systems include T-pieces (90° shears) and half T-pieces, 30° branch, and 45° branch pieces.
Visual control tubes
FLOW MONITORING PIPES (SIGHT-GLASS-PIPES)
Lipped ends piping systems include plexi-glass tubing for visual control of product flow. They are applied to air transport networks as well as to free-flow pipes.
Jointed pipes
BALL-JOINT PIPES
Lipped pipe systems include hinged pipes, which take any slope between -25° and +25° facilitating the installation of side pipes.
Special pipes
INSPECTION & CONTROL PIPES
Lipped piping systems include inspection pipes and control pipes. They are applied in flour mills but also in general in critical product flow positions.
