CRUSHERS / GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The crushers are used for the destruction of products and for their recycling, but also for the improvement of their particle size, i.e. the breaking of agglomerates. In a mechanical way with one or two rotating shafts, they downsize the product to the size of the free opening of their rotating knives. There are different categories of breakers.
CRUSHERS / CATEGORIES / TYPES
SHREDDER DESTROYER.
Shredder or Chipper is used to destroy products in very small size. It consists of two rotating shafts, which have a series of knife-scissors and one enters the other. Shredder shreds wood, logs, toilet or kitchen paper rolls, fabrics, clothes, carpets, medical waste. The broken product comes out in small sizes of 3 – 4 cm, which can then be further processed.
SMALL TYPE SHREDDER.
This crusher is used to break agglomerates in bulk products. It consists of two rotating shafts, which have a series of knife-scissors and one enters the other. At its exit there is a metal mesh (grill), which defines the grain size of the final (broken) product. The crusher in the photo breaks urea to a particle size below 4.0 mm.
HAMMER MILL.
This hammer mill is used to break aggregates into bulk products. It consists of a multi-turn rotating shaft, which has disks with an array of hammers – blades. At its exit there is a metal mesh (grill), which defines the grain size of the final (broken) product. The crusher in the photo breaks urea down to a particle size of less than 1.0 mm.
LABORATORY HAMMER MILL.
The olive fruit hammer mill breaks olives and pulps in a grain size proportional to the distance of the screws to the knives (under 2.0 mm) and proportional to the sieve that follows. The olive hammer mill in the photo is multi-turn and responds to a laboratory size for working with a spectrograph.
ROLLING MILL.
Rolling mills are used to break flour (flour mill) or rice (rice mill) into powder, flour, etc. Rolling mills are applied to many products, such as salt, animal feed, etc. The rolling mill consists of two shafts, which have a roller (cylinder). The distance between them is variable and defines the grain size of the final (broken) product.
NIBBLER DEAGGLOMERATOR.
This crusher is used to break aggregates in bulk products. It consists of a slow rotating shaft, which has 3 blades parallel to the shaft and is surrounded by a cylindrical metal grid (grill), which defines the grain size of the final (broken) product.
