BATTERY RECYCLING & LEAD RECOVERY / PLASTICS RECOVERY
In a battery recycling plant (cars, trucks) we provided a large breaker hammer mill, which shreds the batteries into small pieces. Then, with a special sieve, the battery liquids are separated from the solids: lead, insulation, and plastics. In the second stage, in a flotation tank, screw conveyors separate the plastic from the metal due to different weights. In the final stage, lead in its pure form is melted in a furnace.
