Central filter with suction arms
In a polyurethane production plant, we supplied and installed a central odor and dust extraction system. In a ducting system with galvanized piping, the 12 suction points were joined, ending in a central cartridge filter with a fan and an active carbon filter. Wanting to avoid conventional suction arms, which may “collapse” after heavy use, we installed a practical solution. Lipped pipes can also rotate around each other. With the addition of bearings, as can be seen in the photos, this feature became even easier to use.
