Lump Breaker with Screen
For a fertilizer factory we manufactured a reinforced stainless steel Lump Breaker with Screen. The product to be shredded was lump pieces of urea pressed into a hard uniform shape up to 400x150x150mm in size. The original form of urea before it was agglomerated was in 3mm “pills”, i.e. prilled. This crusher should break the petrified material and return it to its original form. In addition to the large inlet funnel, the main body consists of 8mm thick radially rotating knives with an angular cross-section and fixed knives. A semi-cylindrical grid of 5mm opening has been installed, according to the final desired grain size. A 3.0 kW motor at 36 rpm was installed.
