Tire recycling unit
For a tire recycling unit we built a shredder for secondary and tertiary cutting (from passenger tire cut into smaller pieces). To the 2-axis shredder we added a grate with a hole of Φ28 mm with the aim of taking pieces of this size and smaller. It should be noted that because tires contain wires, the blades of the splitters wear out quite quickly. The harder material chosen for the construction of the knives, while their life time increases, the operating cost of the unit increases at the same time.
