The Challenge: Consistent Sizing and Flow of Recycled Rubber
A tyre recycling facility required a high-capacity solution to grade secondary shredded rubber. The material needed to be screened through a Φ50mm perforated plate to ensure uniformity for downstream processes. However, the fibrous and irregular nature of shredded tyres often causes material to “dead-zone” or migrate toward the machine edges, leading to uneven wear and reduced throughput at the discharge outlet.

The Solution: 5-Metre Linear Vibrating Screen with “Anti-Gathering” Bumpers
We engineered an extra-long Vibrating Sieve (500 x 5000 mm) specifically for the rigorous demands of rubber recycling:
  • High-Intensity Vibration: To maintain material fluidization over the 5-metre span, we utilized three industrial vibrators. This triple-drive system provides the necessary G-force to move heavy secondary shred efficiently.
  • Precision Perforated Deck: The Φ50mm heavy-duty perforated sheet ensures accurate grading, allowing undersize material to pass while conveying the oversize rubber to the next stage.
  • Innovative Edge Control: Following onsite trials, our engineers developed custom lateral “bumpers” along the long sides of the sieve. These successfully redirected material back toward the centre of the deck, preventing edge accumulation and ensuring a steady, satisfactory flow to the outlet.

The Result: Uniform 50mm Rubber Chips with Zero Bottlenecks
The modifications transformed the performance of the line. The 5-metre grading deck now delivers a consistent 50mm product with high reliability, eliminating the manual intervention previously required to clear material from the sieve edges.
