Slide gates or knife gates have a flap, moving on side rails. 100% dustight, watertight, or airtight due to the Perbunan rubber seal.
In the manual version with an additional smaller flap that is stabilized mechanically and in intermediate positions.
In the automatic version with pneumatic cylinder and 5/2 solenoid valve with two proximity switches or with electric motor.
