Tumbler screens
Tumbler screens are applied to products with fine particle sizes from 4 mm – 0.1 mm, they are in a horizontal position, and they shake to a “hoola-hoop” movement with a motor and a system with eccentric counterweights, adjusted according to the shaking that the specific product needs.
Self-cleaning is done with rubber balls, rotating brushes, or an ultrasonic system.
The finer the particle size, the lower the performance of the sieve, e.g. for product separation at 100 μm with a sieve of diameter Φ2000mm, the performance will probably not exceed 1000 kg/h.
